Anna graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont in 2019, with a double major in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and Computer Science, summa cum laude. A Seattle native, she spent the summer of 2018 at the Institute for Systems Biology, analyzing 16S rRNA sequencing data for microbiome research, and the summer of 2017 at the Allen Institute for Brain Science, analyzing imaging data of the visual cortex. She also conducted research at Arizona State University in 2018 in genetic anthropology. She hopes to pursue medical school or graduate school in Biostatistics. In her free time, Anna likes to paddleboard, sew, and ride her bike.
